HALTING STREET HOMELESSNESS IN LONDON
This outfit provides much-needed support for homeless people, especially those with mental-health and drug problems. It helped over 1,700 people with their accommodation in 2006/7, providing shelter on both a temporary and long-term basis. It also ran a farm, a shoe-shine firm and painter-decorator scheme. The Quality of Reporting Score is down on last year's effort, but still represents a good performance.
