TURNING REPORTING INTO A FINE ART

As well as showing and preserving its core collection of 13th- to 19th-century paintings, the Gallery funds cutting-edge research into the conservation of art, contributes to major international exhibitions by the dozen, and runs an education department which helped 100,000 children in 2006/7.
