Financially, it seems to be on (or at least near) the edge, and staff numbers have been slashed. The annual report provides a basic outline of the charity's work during a year with few major natural disasters, but lacks detailed plans - something that is especially worrying given the precarious financial situation.

RedR had a difficult time, but over 18 months a new CEO and team have made significant improvements: an agreed strategy, teams to deliver it recruited and new financial systems implemented. The 06/07 fundraising cost was misleading as the term was used to cover a wider area of communication work. It will be shown clearly in the 07/08 accounts. These accounts show us to be well placed in our rebuilding.
