"Untouchables" - the most oppressed people in Asia - are the focus of this Buddhist charity. Beneficiaries receive schooling, healthcare and cultural support from 37 Indian and Bangladeshi organizations (helping 85,000+ people in 300 projects) which Karuna funds. The annual report is a big improvement on last year's effort, but would benefit from more detail on the year's activities and a description of future plans.
