SEA'S CHAMPION COULD OFFER MORE DEPTH
Plymouth's world-class aquarium is the only one in the UK created purely for education, conservation and research, and the only one that's a charity. It runs interactive exhibitions and long-distance school projects, and to date it has received more than two million visitors. But the thin annual report lacks future plans and gives little explanation of its finances - leaving us wondering how effective the charity has really been.
