Computers
NEW REGULATIONS make it far more difficult to dispose of your old PC. It costs money, and landfill is no longer an option. However the organisations below will take your old equipment to the benefit of a host of charitable (or commercial) causes.
Click to find out what it might cost you...
It costs money to recycle and dispose of PCs. They contain chemicals and data that have to be handled carefully.
Therefore many organisations charge a small fee to take away your old computers - whether they plan to destroy it or refurbish it. This is normal and works out cheaper than trying to deal with the problem yourself.
Some organisations also charge a fee for passing the computer on. If you have a problem with this then check before you commit.
