Do you have any proof of this, and can you tell us what it is? Without it your assertion is utterly worthless.

I'm laughing over this.
Every company, every charity and every school will use an element of spin. Pushing the information that makes them look good, not pushing less attractive information.

Many organisations like to claim credit for the work they are doing making THE difference in some change. Often its a combination of factors, maybe out of the control of the organisation anyway.

The question should be - have salmon numbers in the Wye changed at all, and if so have they gone up or down.

Just because the charity annual report tells you something, such as the fact it has improved salmon numbers in the River Wye, does not necessarily mean it is true. Spin is alive and well in this organisation.

SMART WORK FROM RIVERS CHAMPION

One of the country's 15 river trusts, this growing young charity has built upon clever beginnings to protect salmon in its two rivers with an apparently effective combination of lobbying and practical action. The year's upbeat annual report - more informative than the previous year, and of a very high standard for such a small charity - gives proof of several achievements, not least an increase in salmon numbers in the Wye.
