"Global Care is a British registered, international Christian children's charity. For the past 24 years we have run projects for very deprived and vulnerable children and young people in Africa, Eastern Europe, Asia and South America. We rely on churches, schools, individuals and families who, through fundraising and sponsorship, provide the necessary money for us to maintain and develop existing, and take on new, projects. This funding provides for the poorest, neediest and most vulnerable children and young people, through formal or non-formal schooling and education; vocational training, nutritional and welfare care and support and for some, care in a residential home."
