Feline Advisory Bureau

In their own words

"The Feline Advisory Bureau is a charity dedicated to promoting the health and welfare of cats through improved feline knowledge, to help individuals care better for their cats. "

SIZE OF CHARITY...

What is this?
Small
We only profile the largest charities in England & Wales, and our sizes are relative to the largest and smallest among them. So where we describe a charity as 'Small', it is still much larger than the national average.

HIGHEST SALARY

What is this?
Under £60k
Taken from the vague bandings given in annual reports; note that 'Under £60k' could be £9k or £59k. Nonetheless the number of bars should roughly correlate with the 'Size of charity' bars.

RESERVES WOULD LAST...

What is this?
21 months
If income dried up, how long could work continue? 3-12 months is normal. Less may be precarious. 12+ months may be over-cautious (or if very high, may represent the value of the charity's property).

...can you give us a link that works (and tell us why your reserves look so high)?

FAB have recently launched what may well be the best sheme of it's kind, whereby they can receive around 80% of the commission normally paid by mobile phone companies to High Street retailers. This beats the 10% Red phone deal struck by Bono and Carphone Warehouse. It's currently a pilot scheme with just 5 phones and a static webpage (www.fabcats.org/fabphones) but by February 2007 it will be a fully functioning on-line store. For transparency the amount you'd donate appears on the site and anyone buying a phone also gets a certificate confirming their donation.
