HOLIDAYS AND HOMES FOR THE VULNERABLE

BREAK runs holidays for people with physical or learning disabilities, allowing parents and carers to have a well-earned rest. The charity also runs six residential homes for children and teenagers, many of whom have suffered neglect or abuse. This is supported a 'volunteer mentors' scheme, where volunteers help young people deal with problems as they leave care. BREAK's annual report is solid, with good details of its achievements. The inclusion of future income and expenditure plans would improve it further.
