CHAMPIONING THE ELDERLY IN DISTRESS

The largest charity working with disadvantaged elderly people both in the UK and, via HelpAge International, around the world. Its work benefits hundreds of thousands each year, through a wide range of services (see right). In 2006/7 it launched a financial-services company, Intune, to help older people with financial problems. The annual report is below par for an organization of this size, and really should discuss the charity's future plans.
