This Christian outfit looks after fishermen and their relatives in ports across Britain, and in 2006-07 it had its work cut out. It supported 1,261 people with welfare grants, visited 6,000 fishermen in hospital or at home, and put up 50 distressed fishermen in emergency accommodation. But the annual report is disappointing.
