This veteran animal-welfare organisation provides practical support, education and financial help to thousands of animals and their owners around the UK. 'Britain's pet charity' also works with horses, and helps fund small animal charities in the UK and Europe. 2007 seems to have been a successful year, and the charity is planning to build new veterinary centres around the country. They seem to me to be an ethical organization, however, for that size, I would rather see their salaries somewhat lower.
