This luxury Jewish care-home offers residential and nursing care to its elderly guests, and runs a busy calendar of activities to keep them busy. It even has a beauty salon. The detailed annual report is among the best we've seen - for the second year in a row. It gives reassuring news of the charity's achievements and plans for the future, but also touches on difficulties in raising enough cash to cover costs. Large reserves include property assets.

Nightingale is a very special home caring for older members of the Jewish community. It is largely dependent on charitable donations to fund its work. The Home, the largest in the UK, runs a variety of events throughout the year to suit all pockets, raising from supper quizzes to gala dinners.
