MUCH IMPROVED ANNUAL REPORT

Since its launch by David Bellamy in 1989, this outfit has protected wild plants in the UK and beyond. It works with government, communities and the media to get its findings across. This year saw it run workshops on sustainable medicinal plant-use in East Africa and in the Himalayas, the purchasing of a new nature-reserve in the UK and a slight increase in income - welcome news after a worrying deficit in 2005. The annual report is a remarkably clear, and represents a massive improvement over 2005's effort. Well done Plantlife!
