Named after the BBC sports journalist Helen Rollason, this outfit offers counselling, advice and specialist care to cancer patients and their families. It also funds some cancer research including, in 2007, three projects into breast cancer. In the year it also provided 4,400 free treatments at its centres in Chelmsford and London. However, the annual report is disappointing. It would benefit from more detail across the board, and in particular evidence of the charity's plans.
