GOOD REPORTING FROM FUNDRAISER

Amnesty International UK hasn't been allowed to register as a charity - although it's still trying - so this affiliated outfit raises money for Amnesty's 'non-political' activities and makes grants to other bits of Amnesty accordingly. For what's essentially a fundraising vehicle, the annual report for 2007-08 is an excellent effort. Clear and concise, it could be improved by including more information about the charity's plans, targets, and grant-making policies for dishing out cash to non-Amnesty organizations.
