SKIMPY INFO FROM LOUGHBOROUGH HOSPICE

This East Midlands children's hospice runs an impressive range of services and even operates its own lottery. During 2006/07 it achieved an average 80 per cent occupancy rate and helped over 100 families through its family-support team. Yet this is almost all we know. The charity appears to have almost no interest in telling us what it does, or how it does it; and it demonstrates little concern for its beneficiaries in the threadbare annual report.
