SHINING LIGHT FOR SOUTH-WEST KIDS

With a new hospice opened in 2007, this outfit now runs south-west England's only two children's hospices - Little Bridge House in Barnstable and Charlton Farm near Bristol - and cares for 400 kids each year. The annual report is impressive and a vast improvement on last year's effort. It gives the impression of a professionally-run outfit that has clear goals for the future and is very good at what it does.
